Our Board
President: Thomas Pichler
Our President, Thomas Pichler, has been running an advertising agency for over 20 years and has also been working as a certified animal welfare dog trainer for several years. He spends almost all of his free time on training grounds and in search and rescue areas in Tyrol, eastern Austria, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic, where he trains his two dogs. He currently handles them at the levels of Area Search A, Rubble Search A, and Area Search B.
Vice President: Brigitte Schneider
Brigitte is the heart and soul of our club. As a teacher, she has proven that this is the ideal background for providing support in organizational matters. After all, club members and middle school students often differ only slightly when it comes to discipline and structure—but Brigitte has everything firmly under control. She has been active in the search and rescue dog field for 20 years and currently handles her dog, Alea, at the levels of Area Search B and Rubble Search A.
Secretary: Hubert Schneeweiß
Hubert is the rock of our club and always has an open ear and unwavering calm for anyone with questions about dog training. He loves obedience work and precision training and has found an ideal partner in his highly motivated Labrador, Leo. Together, they are well-prepared to achieve great results in the upcoming IRO examinations.
Treasurer: Barbara Ritzinger
Barbara, as the most experienced handler in our club, is a key pillar of support. With over 20 years of experience in both operational and sport dog work—including appearances at national championships and numerous certifications—she has plenty of valuable tips and ideas for tackling upcoming training challenges. She currently handles her dog, Cooper, at Area Search Level B.
And Our Dedicated Members
Every club thrives on the activity of its members, as they are the foundation of a vibrant club life. It's essential to motivate them and involve them in ambitious projects, no matter how unconventional. This is the key to fostering strong teamwork and shared enjoyment of our common passion—search and rescue dog sports.
We are thrilled to have nearly 20 active members currently participating in our club. Together, we are continuously working on our projects for the current year and beyond.
