Founding Event with Nikolaus Tournament

On December 8, we hosted our official founding event in combination with a fun Nikolaus Tournament, where 15 human-dog teams showcased their skills and agility. Despite adverse weather conditions, more than 20 people came together to celebrate the start of our club in style. The competition tasks ranged from "walking on a loose leash while holding a full cup of water in the leash hand" to sitting under tempting distractions and even transporting the dog in a wheelbarrow. To ensure fairness, the tournament was divided into two age categories, as many young dogs under 8 months participated.

Of course, the tasks were judged after registration with our performance judge and under his watchful eye, with many fantastic prizes awarded at the end. Gastronomically, we were excellently taken care of by our new member, Rainer, while various homemade cakes, punch, and sandwiches rounded out the program perfectly. In the end, we are delighted to have nearly 20 members and look forward to a strong start to the upcoming training and exam season.
